Are you a compassionate Registered Nurse looking to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and families? Brighton Hospice is growing, and we are hiring multiple RNs to join our team! 

Open RN Positions:

We are hiring for multiple RN roles based out of our Indianapolis office, serving the greater surrounding area:

  • RN Case Manager (Monday–Friday with on-call rotation)
    Coordinate, manage, and deliver patient care during regular business hours with a consistent schedule.

  • Admissions RN (4x10s with rotating Saturdays)
    Guide patients and families through the admission process and initial plan of care. Enjoy a condensed workweek with 3 days off.

  • Weekend Resource RN (Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts, full time)
    Provide weekend support across our service area, offering continuity and compassion when families need it most.

  • Full-Time On-Call RN (7 days on / 7 days off)
    A unique opportunity for experienced RNs who thrive in autonomous roles, supporting patients after hours with a balanced week-on/week-off schedule

What You’ll Do:

  • Deliver personalized, high-quality hospice nursing care

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure patients' comfort and dignity

  • Support families through education, empathy, and open communication

  • Participate in case conferences, care planning, and ongoing assessments

Qualifications

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) licensure (in good standing) in the state(s) of practice 
  • Strong hospice experience is preferred 
  • Works well within a team environment to collaborate daily with nurses, social workers, chaplains, volunteers, and CNA leadership.
  • Work closely with patients on a 1-1 level but get strong support from a patient care team.
  • Can work independently and on your own from a day-to-day basis with activities which include: phone, email and written communication, meetings with a variety of healthcare professionals, and an understanding of hospice rules and regulations.
  • Time management skills to manage visits, documentation, meetings (i.e.: to scheduled visits, attend required meetings, respond to urgent needs by prioritizing and triaging multiple concerns)
  • Ability to learn an electronic medical records system.
  • Must be willing to drive the service area with reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance
