Details

As the Director of Clinical Services, RN,  you'll lead and inspire our clinical team to deliver high-quality, compliant, and compassionate hospice care. You’ll shape clinical strategy, implement policies, and ensure adherence to all federal and state hospice regulations. This position is ideal for a seasoned Registered Nurse who blends strong leadership with exceptional customer service and clinical expertise.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the clinical team in delivering excellent hospice care that aligns with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.

  • Establish, evaluate, and refine clinical policies and protocols to enhance quality, compliance, and operational performance.

  • Recruit, develop, mentor, and sustain a diverse and high-performing clinical team.

  • Inspire and motivate your team through servant leadership, fostering clear communication and collaborative problem-solving.

  • Ensure adherence to hospice-specific federal, state, and CHAP standards.

  • Act as a customer service champion—ensuring families and patients receive compassionate, respectful, and responsive care.

  • Monitor and report on clinical metrics, trends, staff performance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in good standing in the practice

  • Minimum of 2 years in a formal leadership role within healthcare; hospice experience is required.

  • Demonstrated expertise in hospice clinical care, regulatory compliance, and quality improvement initiatives.

  • Excellent customer service orientation, with strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution capabilities.

  • Exceptional organizational and strategic skills, with proven experience implementing clinical best practices.
